Donate if you think mean people suck and not all New Yorkers are bad.

Deniz moved to NY from Turkey and was a little apprehensive about the big city. She was just starting to settle in when she had her iPhone stolen. I'm hoping 15 other people will step up and donate $20 to get the poor girl a new phone and, more importantly, restore her faith in the good of people. Please help.

Deniz's facebook post: Got robbed last night. A kid asked an address, i pulled it from the google map, and he grabbed my phone from my hand AND RAN. Chased him 5 blocks. 10 police cars. 1 hour chase in a police car. 2 hour of police station. looking at 155 mug shots. telling the story 18 times. come home with no iphone. everything is gone. So all my friends seeing this post here, if you care about me, or did care in the past this way or that way, please send me your phone number. I really do need some friendly love from everybody, because CLEARLY, you CANT be friendly in NYC, and this place brings a dark view of world, it is changing me, I cant be nice, I cant care, I just cant anymore. I just hope that my friends let me keep the faith.
